We are a residential and light-commercial service company. That means repairs, replacements, fixture and hot water tank installations, drain work and the drainage systems around a foundation. Carrying both trades under one roof is less common than it sounds, and the reason is licensing rather than preference: drainage work does not qualify anyone to touch the gas connection on a water heater, and a plumbing ticket does not come with a jetter and a sewer camera.

There is work we turn down. We rough in drains for renovations, basement developments and additions, but we are not a new-build general contractor, we do not take on multi-storey mechanical projects, and we do not carry out restoration after a flood, though we can point you to the trades that do. If a job needs an engineer's drawing or a municipal servicing application beyond the property line, we will tell you that on the phone rather than after a wasted appointment.

The honest tradeoff of a smaller company: we can usually get to you faster and you will speak to someone who knows your job, but on a heavy storm day when perimeter drains are backing up across the North Shore, the schedule fills and we will say so instead of promising a window we cannot hold.
